Trend analysis of acupuncture and moxibustion for lumbar disc herniation based on CiteSpace
Objective To explore the research status and frontier hot spots of acupuncture and moxibustion for lumbar disc herniation.Methods The periodical literature of different acupuncture and moxibustion for lumbar disc herniation collected by CNKI from January 1993 to December 2022 was retrieved,and the research literature was included according to the literature screening criteria.The data was processed based on CiteSpace software,and the authors,research institutions and keywords were visually analyzed.Results A total of 5739 articles were screened,and the number of articles published was on the rise.The top five authors with the highest number of articles were Wu Yaochi,Huang Shirong,Fu Yong,Li Wei,and Zhang Junfeng.The active research institutions with a large number of articles included Hunan University of Chinese Medicine,Gansu University of Chinese Medicine,Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine,and the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi University of Chinese Medicine.There was acupuncture and moxibustion,needling,massage,electroacupuncture,traction,and acupoint injection with the co-occurrence frequency of therapeutic keywords greater than 100 and the value of intermediary centrality≥0.1.Conclusion Researchers tend to use different acupuncture and moxibustion to treat lumbar disc herniation.The frontier hot spot is to study the clinical efficacy of warm needle moxibustion or acupuncture therapies and massage combined with rehabilitation training in improving lumbar function,relieving pain and improving quality of life.
