Exploration of the operating room nursing interventions and effects of vitrectomy
Objective To explore the operating room nursing interventions of vitrectomy and the effect. Methods A total of 160 patients who admitted to Longyan First Affiliated Hospital of Fujian Medical University to undergo vitrectomy from July 2022 to July 2023 were selected and divided into the control group and the study group by random number table method, with 80 cases in each group. The control group used conventional operating room nursing intervention, and the study group used operating room comprehensive nursing intervention. The scores of comfort level, postoperative eye recovery time, and postoperative complications of the two groups of patients during the surgery process were compared. The satisfaction survey questionnaires were distributed to patients to understand their satisfaction with operating room nursing. Results The scores of comfort level during surgery in the study group were higher than those in the control group, and the recovery time of various eye indicators after surgery was shorter than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The total incidence of postoperative complications in the study group was lower, with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).The total satisfaction of patients in the study group with operating room nursing was higher than that of patients in the control group, with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion In the operating room nursing of patients undergoing vitrectomy, operating room comprehensive nursing intervention can significantly improve the comfort level of patients during the surgery process, shorten the recovery time of postoperative eye-related indicators, reduce postoperative complications, and improve the satisfaction of operating room nursing.
