Research on the correlation in social relations,social support level,and anxiety of patients with breast cancer followed up during the rehabilitation period
Objective To investigate the status quo of and correlation in social relations,social support level and anxiety of patients with breast cancer during the rehabilitation period.Methods A total of 172 patients with breast cancer who were reexamined in the breast clinic of Tianjin Medical University Cancer Institute&Hospital from June to October 2022 were selected as the research objects.The social support rating scale(SSRS),social relational quality scale(SRQS)and self-rating anxiety scale(SAS)were used for investigation,and correlation analysis was conducted.Results The total average score of SAS for patients with breast cancer during the rehabilitation period was(51.92±11.47)points,and the patients with moderate or above anxiety accounted for 20.35%.The total average score of SRQS was(52.33±5.62)points,and the total average score of SSRS was(27.63±5.77)points.The SAS level was negatively correlated with SRQS and SSRS levels(r=-0.523,-0.407,P<0.01).Conclusion The SAS level,SRQS level and SSRS level of patients with breast cancer need to be improved during the rehabilitation period.Nurses should strengthen their management of patients who come to the hospital for follow-up during the rehabilitation period and help patients establish a good family social support system,which is conducive to reducing the anxiety level of patients.
