Research progress of integrin αvβ6 in dental and periodontal tissue diseases
The occurrence and development of human dental and periodontal tissue diseases are a complex process,involving the interaction between cells or between cells and matrix.Integrins are a family of heterodimeric cell surface receptors expressed in most cells,which mediates interaction between cells or between cells and matrix and regulates cell growth,migration and survival.Integrin αvβ6 is mainly expressed in epithelial cells,and is induced in some inflammation,cancer,wound healing and fibrosis diseases,and participates in regulating various signal pathways in different processes,such as cell proliferation,migration,survival,differentiation and tumor invasion and metastasis.In recent years,many studies have shown that integrin αvβ6 is involved in the development of dental tissues and plays a key role in periodontitis and non-periodontitis trauma.The research progress of integrin αvβ6 in the occurrence and development of dental and periodontal diseases is mainly discussed in this paper,so as to provide better diagnosis and treatment ideas.
