Investigation and analysis on the status quo of continuing medical education in a hospital
Objective To investigate and analyze the status quo of health technicians participating in continuing medical education in Tianjin Second Hospital,so as to provide theoretical basis for further improving the continuing medical education in hospitals.Methods Through questionnaire surveys and interviews,the Department of Science and Education of the hospital conducted a survey and analysis from July to August 2022 on the cognition and demand of hospital health technicians for continuing medical education.Results The continuing medical education work in hospitals lacked the policy support of the leadership and appropriate institutional protection of the hospital.The development of continuing medical education was unbalanced in various dimensions.The investment in continuing medical education in hospitals was obviously insufficient.The form of continuing medical education activities was single,which could not meet and fit the clinical demands of hospital health technicians,and the educational means and teaching forms were not flexible and diverse enough.Conclusion It is necessary to strengthen the transformation of continuing education mode,improve the level of continuing medical education of professional technicians as a whole,accelerate the pace of continuing medical education of professional health technicians,constantly explore new modes in line with continuing medical education in secondary hospitals,and put forward feasible development strategies,so as to better carry out continuing medical education in hospitals.
