Impacts of intervention mode based on implementing scientific theory on health management of patients undergoing blood dialysis
Objective To evaluate the impact of intervention mode based on implementing scientific theory on self-management behavior,self-efficacy and health status of patients undergoing blood dialysis. Methods A total of 214 patients undergoing maintenance blood dialysis in Taian 88th Hospital from April 2022 to April 2023 were selected as the research object, and they were divided into the control group(n=107)and the observation group(n=107)by random number table method. The control group was treated with conventional clinical and nursing intervention, while the observation group was treated with the intervention mode based on implementing scientific theory. After 6 months of intervention, the patients'self-management behavior,self-efficacy,health status and nursing service satisfaction were evaluated. Results There were 202 patients who completed this study.100 patients were in the observation group, with a lost follow-up rate of 6.54%.Another 102 patients were in the control group, with a lost follow-up rate of 4.67%.The problem-solving,executive self-care scores and total self-management behavior scale scores of patients in the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Symptom management scores and total scores of chronic disease self-efficacy scale of patients in the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The scores of general health, physical function, physical pain, mental health, total physical health, total mental health and total health status of patients in the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The score of patients'satisfaction with nurses'services in the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The intervention mode based on implementing scientific theory can not only effectively improve the health management ability and quality of life of patients undergoing blood dialysis, but also further improve their service satisfaction to nursing staff.
