Research progress of antianxiety drugs in the treatment of patients with atrial fibrillation complicated with anxiety
Atrial fibrillation(AF)is a serious cardiovascular disease, which may lead to thromboembolism and heart failure mainly caused by stroke. With the more and more serious aging condition in China, the prevalence of AF is showing an increasing trend, which makes AF one of the commonest arrhythmia in clinical practice. However, due to the general cardioversion effect of drugs in patients with AF and the relatively high relapse rate after catheter ablation,long-term use of anticoagulants will increase the risk of hemorrhage in patients, which will inevitably lead to changes in patients'anxiety, depression and other related emotions. At present,"psycho-cardiology"medical research is a hot topic in cardiovascular field. In the future, the evaluation and intervention of psychological factors such as anxiety and depression should be included in the comprehensive management of AF.There is little research on whether anti-anxiety drugs can improve the prognosis and quality of life of patients with AF.By further investigating the therapeutic efficacy of anti-anxiety drugs on patients with AF complicated with anxiety,we can provide theoretical basis for improving the chronic disease management of patients with AF.
