Impacts of nursing sensitive quality index on the incidence of complications after transradial coronary intervention
Objective To investigate the impacts of nursing sensitive quality index on the incidence of complications after transradial coronary intervention(TCI).Methods Patients who underwent TCI admitted to Guangzhou Panyu Central Hospital from January to December 2021 were selected as the control group(n=56),and they were implemented with conventional nursing quality management intervention; Those who underwent TCI from January to December 2022 were selected as the study group(n=48),and they were implemented with nursing sensitive quality index intervention. The outcomes of care(complications, pain, satisfaction with care, quality and comfort)were assessed in both groups. Results The total complication rate and postoperative visual analogue scale score(2,4,8,24 h)in the study group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The scores of nursing quality, total satisfaction rate and comfort level in the study group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of nursing sensitive quality index in the prevention of complications after TCI operation is effective, which can obviously reduce the incidence of postoperative complications and improve the quality of nursing.
