Research progress of mitochondrial autophagy in acute pancreatitis
As one of the common acute abdominal diseases in clinic, acute pancreatitis(AP)has a complicated pathogenesis, accompanied by mitochondrial damage and dysfunction of acinar cells, lymphocytes and other cells.Mitochondrial autophagy,an important way to regulate cell homeostasis, can target and remove damaged and dysfunctional mitochondria in cells. It is found that mitochondrial autophagy participates in the occurrence and development of AP.Mitochondrial quality control through mitochondrial autophagy can alleviate AP and can be used as a key target for AP treatment. In this paper, the signal pathways related to mitochondrial autophagy and the research progress of mitochondrial autophagy in AP are summarized,so as to provide theoretical reference for mitochondrial autophagy as the target for AP treatment.
