Application effect of combining microteaching with PBL teaching in medical oncology nursing teaching
Objective To analyze the application effect of combining microteaching with problem-based learning(PBL)in the teaching of medical oncology nursing. Methods A total of 41 nursing students who interned in the Oncology Department of Affiliated Hospital of Weifang Medical University from March 2021 to March 2022 were selected as the control group, and routine teaching mode was adopted in nursing teaching.A total of 41 nursing students who interned in the Oncology Department of Affiliated Hospital of Weifang Medical University from April 2022 to April 2023 were selected as the observation group, and microteaching combined with PBL teaching mode was adopted in nursing teaching. The teaching performance, learning engagement level, and core competency of the two groups of nursing students were compared. Results The theoretical knowledge and practical skills assessment scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The learning engagement scale score of the observation group was(97.33±12.95)points,which was higher than(87.07±9.49)points of the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The core competency scale scores of undergraduate nursing interns in the observation group were also higher than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of microteaching combined with PBL teaching in medical oncology nursing teaching can improve students'teaching performance, enhance their learning engagement level, and promote the further improvement of core competency.
