Meta-analysis of correlation between aspirin and subarachnoid hemorrhage
Objective To evaluate the correlation between aspirin and subarachnoid hemorrhage(SAH).Methods The domestic and foreign databases, such as PubMed and CNKI,were retrieved by computer, and the retrieval time was from the establishment of the database to April 2023.The researchers comprehensively evaluated the results of the included documents. Results Finally,12 articles were included.Meta-analysis showed that aspirin could significantly reduce the risk of SAH(OR=0.61,95%CI:0.42-0.88,P=0.007).Subgroup analysis showed that in the general population, aspirin had no statistically significant impact on SAH(OR=1.00,95%CI:0.72-1.40,P=0.98).However,in patients with intracranial aneurysms, aspirin had a protective effect(OR=0.32,95%CI:0.20-0.53,P<0.000 01).Conclusion Aspirin can reduce the risk of SAH in patients with intracranial aneurysms, but it has no protective effect on the general population.
