Analysis of self-management status quo and influencing factors of patients with stable chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in community
Objective To investigate the self-management status quo and influencing factors of patients with stable chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)in community. Methods Convenient sampling method was selected to investigate the stable COPD patients who rechecked at the respiratory clinics of five grade A tertiary hospitals in three cities in Fujian Province from June to December,2023.General information questionnaire, community self-management scale for patients with stable chronic obstructive pulmonary disease,Chinese version of patient activation measure, family support questionnaire and frailty status scale were used to investigate, and the influencing factors of patients'self-management were analyzed by multiple stepwise regression. Results The total score of self-management of stable COPD patients in community was(133.90±41.05)points,the total score of activation was(69.39±26.58)points,the total score of family support was(10.43±4.61)points,and the total score of frailty status quo was(1.68±0.79)points.Self-management was positively correlated with activation and family support, and negatively correlated with frailty status quo(P<0.01).Activation,family support, frailty, age, community and education level were the main influencing factors of self-management of stable COPD patients in community(P<0.05).Conclusion The self-management of stable COPD patients in community is in the middle level, which needs to be further improved.Medical staff should take corresponding intervention strategies according to the influencing factors of patients'self-management to improve patients'self-management ability and level.
