Research progress on chemical constituents and pharmacological effects of Crepis crocea and prediction analysis of its quality marker
Crepis crocea is a unique traditional Chinese medicine in Shanxi Province, mainly used to treat diseases such as cough and asthma.Modern pharmacological research has shown that Crepis crocea has pharmacological effects such as relieving cough, relieving asthma, resisting inflammation and lowering blood sugar. Its active substances mainly include organic acids, polysaccharides, terpenes, phenylpropanoids, and other chemical components. In order to further explore its functional role in the prevention and treatment of human diseases, this paper intends to review the chemical constituents and modern pharmacological research of Crepis crocea.Based on the quality marker(Q-marker)theory of traditional Chinese medicine, the Q-marker of Crepis crocea are analyzed and discussed from three aspects:plant kinship, medicinal efficacy and chemical constituents. The results show that organic acids such as chlorogenic acid and caffeic acid, terpenoids such as esterin Ⅰ,polysaccharides and other polysaccharides could be used as the main Q-marker of Crepis crocea, providing reference for the standardization and improvement of the quality evaluation system of Crepis crocea.
