Research progress of traditional Chinese medicine in treating cardiac neurosis
Cardiac neurosis(CN)is a relatively special type of neurosis.CN belongs to clinical syndromes, mainly manifested as somatization symptoms related to the circulatory system, characterized by autonomic dysfunction and related to cardiovascular dysfunction. It is a very common cardiovascular disease in clinical practice.CN patients usually lack objective evidence of organic diseases and often exhibit symptoms such as palpitations, fatigue, precordial pain, and difficulty breathing.A few patients also have symptoms of autonomic nervous system dysfunction. In clinical practice,it is difficult to diagnose these patients and often requires a large number of auxiliary examinations to exclude exclusive diagnosis after organic diseases. This not only provides difficulty for patients to seek medical treatment, but also wastes medical resources to a certain extent. At the same time, there are various theories regarding the treatment of CN patients both domestically and internationally, and there is a lack of systematic research data to support them.Western medicine often advocates the use of psychotropic drugs and autonomic nervous regulation drugs for CN patients. The use of psychotropic drugs may exacerbate anxiety and tension in some patients, further exacerbating their condition. Therefore, based on extensive literature review, this article aims to analyze and explore the advantages and disadvantages of traditional Chinese medicine in treating cardiac neurosis, and discuss the long-term treatment of CN patients and new models of traditional Chinese medicine diagnosis and treatment management.
