Research on Modified Shengji Yuhong Ointment in promoting the rehabilitation of chronic refractory wounds after lower limb trauma
Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of Modified Shengji Yuhong Ointment in the treatment of chronic refractory wounds after lower limb trauma. Methods A total of 60 patients who were diagnosed as chronic refractory wounds after lower limb trauma admitted to the Department of Orthopedics of Bijie Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from January 2022 to October 2023 were selected and divided into the study group(n=30)and the control group(n=30)according to the coin throwing method.Patients in the control group were treated with conventional surgical debridement and dressing change combined with recombinant human epidermal growth factor gel, while those in the study group were treated with conventional surgical debridement and dressing change combined with Modified Shengji Yuhong Ointment.Indices such as the wound bacterial culture, wound pressure ulcer scale for healing score, and C-reactive protein(CRP),erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR)and wound area reduction rate of the two groups at 1 week and 4 weeks after treatment were compared and evaluated. Results The treatment outcomes of the two groups of people were compared, and the bacterial culture, inflammatory indices and wound reduction rate of the study group were obviously superior to those of the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion Modified Shengji Yuhong Ointment is used to treat chronic refractory wounds after lower limb trauma, which can accelerate wound healing and reduce rehabilitation time, and is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
