Clinical observation on oral Qian's Jianxi recipe combined with iontophoresis of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of early knee osteoarthrosis of liver and kidney deficiency type
Objective To observe the clinical effect of oral Qian's Jianxi recipe combined with iontophoresis of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)in the treatment of early knee osteoarthritis(of liver and kidney deficiency type).Methods Fifty-nine patients(59 knees)with early knee osteoarthritis(of liver and kidney deficiency type)admitted to the orthopedic outpatient department of Jinhua Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2021 to December 2023 were selected as the research object,and treated with oral Qian's Jianxi recipe and external application of iontophoresis of traditional Chinese medicine for 10 days.The visual analogue scale(VAS)of pain,Lysholm Knee Score and TCM symptom score before and after treatment were compared.Results The total effective rate was 94.9％.After treatment,the pain VAS score was lower than that before treatment,the Lysholm Knee Score was higher than that before treatment,and the TCM symptom score obviously improved(P＜0.05).Conclusion Oral Qian's Jianxi recipe combined with TCM iontophoresis has obvious efficacy on early knee osteoarthritis(of liver and kidney deficiency type),which can relieve patients'pain and improve joint function.
