Research status and trends of transcutaneous electrical acupoint stimulation from 2003 to 2023 based on CiteSpace
Objective To explore the development,research focus and frontiers of transcutaneous electrical acupoint stimulation.Methods Visualize and analyze Chinese literature collected by China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI)from January 2003 to July 2023 using CiteSpace software.Results A total of 1945 articles were included,and the overall number of articles was on the rise.The institution with the largest number of articles was the Institute of Acupuncture and Moxibustion,CACMS.Keyword analysis showed that the literature research of transcutaneous electrical acupoint stimulation took"stroke","analgesia"and"electroacupuncture"as high-frequency keywords.Conclusion The research on transcutaneous electrical acupoint stimulation has received increasing attention year by year,but there are few core authors.The collaborative network shows that there is more cooperation within the team,and there is still a need to strengthen communication and cooperation between scholars and institutions.The research mainly focuses on pain relief and rehabilitation treatment of stroke;Intervention of immune function during the perioperative period,protection of postoperative cognitive function,and application in abdominal endoscopy may become future research focus and frontiers of transcutaneous electrical acupoint stimulation.
