The application effect of acupoint application combined with traditional Chinese medicine Reyanbao nursing on postoperative defecation and anal pain in patients with mixed hemorrhoids
Objective To explore the application effect of acupoint application combined with traditional Chinese medicine Reyanbao nursing on postoperative defecation and anal pain in patients with mixed hemorrhoids.Methods The study subjects were 80 patients with mixed hemorrhoids who were treated at Xiamen Hospital of TCM from August 2021 to July 2023.They were divided into two groups using a random number table method,with 40 cases in each group.The reference group received routine nursing intervention,while the observation group received acupoint application plus traditional Chinese medicine Reyanbao nursing intervention on the basis of the reference group.The scores of defecation(defecation difficulty,defecation time and defecation times)before and after nursing were compared between the two groups,and the anal pain after operation was compared between the two groups,and the quality of life and sleep before and after nursing were compared between the two groups.Results The scores of defecation difficulty,defecation time,and defecation frequency of the observation group after nursing were all lower than those of the reference group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The scores of anal pain of the observation group on the 3rd,5th and 7th day after operation were significantly lower than those of the reference group,with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).The generic quality of life inventory 74 score of patients in the observation group after nursing was higher than that in the reference group,and the Pittsburgh sleep quality index score was lower than that in the reference group,with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion Acupoint application combined with traditional Chinese medicine Reyanbao nursing intervention is beneficial for improving postoperative defecation difficulties in patients,shortening defecation time,promoting defecation,effectively relieving anal pain,and improving their quality of life and sleep.
