Research progress in genetics and epigenetics of allergic rhinitis
The pathogenesis of allergic rhinitis(AR)is related to genetic, environmental, and epigenetic factors.Single nucleotide polymorphism genotyping is an advanced technology in the field of molecular genetics, closely related to genome-wide association study(GWAS)in populations with allergic diseases.Recent research has focused on the role of epigenetics, including the role of DNA methylation, histone acetylation and changes in micro ribonucleic acid(miRNA)levels in the pathogenesis of AR.This paper summarized the genetics and epigenetics of AR,including information on the function and significance of previously known and newly discovered genes. The research direction of genetics and epigenetics of AR in the future is also put forward.
