Application effect of mixed curriculum ideological and political teaching mode in pathology teaching
Objective To explore the application effect of mixed curriculum ideological and political teaching mode in pathology teaching based on the Learning Platform.Methods A total of 266 undergraduate students majoring in clinical medicine from the grade 2021 of the School of Medicine,Shanxi Datong University were selected as the research subjects.One teaching class was randomly selected as the experimental group,while the other classes were selected as the control group.The students in the experimental group adopted the online and offline mixed curriculum ideological and political teaching mode,while the students in the control group adopted the conventional teaching mode.The research period was from March to July 2023.The teaching effectiveness was evaluated through final exam scores and questionnaire surveys.Results The average score of the students in the experimental group was(93.15±9.91)points,which was significantly higher than that in the control group(89.78±9.23)points,especially in terms of class attendance,teaching interaction and video learning,with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).According to the questionnaire,56.18%and 32.67%of students believed that it was very important or relatively important to integrate ideological and political elements into teaching;55.78%and 25.10%of students thought that they had gained a lot in ideological and political teaching.Compared with the control group,students in the experimental group generally believed that ideological and political teaching can improve their interest in learning pathology courses and their academic performance.Conclusion The mixed curriculum ideological and political teaching mode in pathology teaching is helpful to improve the teaching effectiveness and students'motivation,which can be further promoted and implemented.
