Survey and reflection on medical talents"group-style"aid to Tibet to help local talents training
Objective To explore the problems and optimization suggestions in the training of local talents in the"group-style"aid to Tibet from the perspective of both supporting and receiving hospitals.Methods From June 5 to July 5,2022,416 medical staff from aided hospitals and 240 medical staff from supporting hospitals were conveniently sampled by self-designed questionnaires,and the collected data were analyzed by SPSS statistical software,and semi-structured interviews were conducted with 14 medical staff.Results 82.08%of the medical staff in supporting hospitals and 72.84%of the medical staff in receiving hospitals thought that"mentoring"was the most effective way to train talents.78.33%of the medical staff in supporting hospitals thought that the primary difficulty in personnel training was that the students'knowledge base was weak and they couldn't meet the teaching requirements.50.48%of the medical staff in the receiving hospitals believed that the length of teaching was the second biggest factor affecting the effectiveness of local talent training.52.16%of the medical staff in the receiving hospitals thought that the assessment results were not related to or did not understand the performance reward.66.25%of the medical staff in supporting hospitals considered that the lack of enthusiasm of local students was a prominent problem in local talent training.Conclusion Both supporting and receiving hospitals have achieved good results in the training of local talents through medical talents"group-style"aid to Tibet,but they still need continuous efforts and continuous improvement.
