To observe the efficacy and safety of dagaglizin combined with metformin in patients with type 2 diabetes
Objective To investigate the efficacy and safety of Dapagliflozin combined with metformin in the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus.Methods A total of 60 patients with type 2 diabetes who were treated in the Department of Endocrinology of Tianshui Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2018 to August 2023 were randomly divided into two groups according to the method of random number table.The control group was treated with metformin,and the observation group was treated with Dapagliflozin combined with metformin.The clinical efficacy,blood glucose and pancreatic islet related indicators,inflammatory factors and oxidative stress indicators,and adverse reactions of the two groups were compared.Results The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group.Fasting state and 2 h postprandial blood glucose,glycated hemoglobin,fasting insulin and insulin resistance index of observation group were lower than those of control group.After treatment,C-reactive protein,interleukin-6,homocysteine and malondialdehyde in observation group were lower than those in control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion Dapagliflozin combined with metformin is effective in the treatment of type 2 diabetes.It can effectively control blood sugar,reduce insulin resistance,reduce inflammation and oxidative stress,and has high safety.
