Study on the change of medical and health service capacity in Yancheng City under the graded diagnosis and treatment system
Objective To analyze and predict the changes of medical and health service capacity in Yancheng City,and to provide reference for effectively promoting the graded diagnosis and treatment system.Methods Based on the data of Jiangsu Health Yearbook from 2012 to 2021,the indicators such as medical and health resources and health services in Yancheng City were analyzed and predicted by using the grey prediction model.Results From 2012 to 2021,the number of institutions,beds,practicing(assistant)physicians,and registered nurses showed an increasing trend year by year.It is expected to reach 3449,53 110,26 435,and 30 340 respectively by 2026;From 2012 to 2021,the number of patients diagnosed and treated,the number of hospitalizations,the number of health examinations,and the volume of home health services in Yancheng City increased year by year,while the utilization rate of hospital beds showed a downward trend.By 2026,the number of patients diagnosed and treated and the number of hospitalizations will reach 46.917 97 million and 1.6318 million,respectively,and the utilization rate of hospital beds will decrease to 69.61％,and the number of health examinations will reach 3.375 25 million.Home health services will grow rapidly,with an average annual growth rate of 10.58％.Conclusion The medical service capacity of Yancheng City is gradually improving,but there are problems such as the need to optimize the configuration of medical service facilities,low utilization rate of medical resources,shortage of registered nurses,and insufficient grassroots medical service capacity.It is urgent to take effective measures to promote the implementation of graded diagnosis and treatment and enhance medical and health service capabilities.
