Acupuncture point therapy has a certain effect on hypertension.In recent years,a lot of research has been done on the hypotensive effect and mechanism of electroacupuncture and hand acupuncture stimulation on related acupoints,which are mainly expounded from the aspects of renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system,the influence of oxidative stress on vascular endothelial function and the regulation of blood pressure by nervous system.Pressing needle is also a therapeutic method of acupuncture,which has the advantages of easy mastery,easy implementation and compliance.Intradermal acupuncture has existed since ancient times,and it can stay in skin acupoints for a long time and play a role,but there are few studies on its antihypertensive effect and mechanism.Therefore,this paper reviews its clinical antihypertensive effect in order to provide some theoretical and practical basis for the treatment of hypertension with acupuncture in clinic.
