Objective To optimize the extraction process of Hua Mo Ling Granules.Methods The extraction process of the component of volatile oil from Atractylodes Lancea and the whole formula of Hua Mo Ling granules were investigated using the single factor test method,respectively,from factors of extraction time,material-liquid ratio,number of times of extraction,and soaking time,to optimize the best extraction process.Results The extraction process of the volatile oil from Atractylodes Lancea in Hua Mo Ling Granules consisted of a crushing degree for Atractylodes Lancea of 80 mesh,a material-liquid ratio of 1∶15,soaking time of 2 h,and distillation time of 2 h.The extraction process of the whole formula consisted of extraction time of 60 min,a material-liquid ratio of1∶10,and 2 times of extraction.Conclusion Taking the economic benefits and operability into consideration,this method is stable and reliable.It can provide a basis for the later development of Hua Mo Ling Granules and support ideas for the development of other Chinese medicinal preparations.
