Exploring the etiology,pathogenesis and treatment principles of diabetic foot ulcer in TCM based on the Life-saving Manual of Diagnosis and Treatment of External Diseases
Diabetic foot ulcer(DFU)is one of the main causes of disability and death in patients with diabetes.Due to its complex pathological mechanism and the impact of various complications,the prognosis of the disease is poor,and the clinical mortality and disability rate are even higher than most cancers.Further research is needed on the pathophysiological mechanisms and etiology of DFU.Understanding the pathogenesis and etiology of diseases helps to develop better treatment plans and preventive measures,providing better treatment for patients.The Life-saving Manual of Diagnosis and Treatment of External Diseases is known as the essence of"yang deficiency and yin excess".It gathers the clinical practice of the famous medical expert Wang Weide in the Qing Dynasty for more than 40 years,providing valuable reference for solving the complexity,persistence,safety,effectiveness,and prognosis of DFU.In today's society,it still has strong guiding significance.Therefore,based on the Life-saving Manual of Diagnosis and Treatment of External Diseases,this study explores the etiology and treatment methods of clinical DFU,in order to provide new differentiation and treatment ideas for clinical practice.
