Investigation on the application of case library for undergraduate teaching of pediatrics of traditional Chinese medicine based on OBE concept
Outcome based education (OBE) is an educational concept that is oriented to students' learning achievements. In the teaching of pediatrics of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM),it is necessary to always pay attention to the training objectives and achievements of undergraduates in colleges and universities of TCM,and take the ultimate theoretical and clinical ability as the foothold. At the same time,leveraging the advantages of case teaching,and use classic cases as carriers in classroom teaching and clinical internships to inspire students to think and proficiently master principle-method-recipe-medicines. Taking this as a starting point,this research establishes a case library for undergraduate teaching of pediatrics of TCM based on OBE concept,and refines the case-based learning guidance scheme,with the aim of achieving the teaching objectives and evaluating the learning effect. Students are really enabled to apply what they have learned,effectively combine theory with practice,and achieve the ideal teaching objectives.
