Design and practice of curriculum ideological and political "cloud" teaching in pediatric nursing courses based on JITT mode
Objective To construct a curriculum ideological and political teaching mode for pediatric nursing courses and explore its implementation effectiveness. Methods From August to December 2023,four classes were divided into an experimental group (n=107) and a control group (n=102) among nursing students in the grade 2022 of Changchun Medical College by flipping a coin. The experimental group adopted the curriculum ideological and political "cloud" teaching method based on just-in-time-teaching (JITT),while the control group adopted the traditional curriculum ideological and political teaching method. Examinations,questionnaires,and evaluations of supervisors listening to lectures were used to examine the effectiveness of teaching,and the teaching effect was compared between the two groups from the aspects of students'final exam scores and teaching satisfaction. Results The average score of the final exam in the experimental group (78.93±5.56) points was higher than that in the control group (76.23±5.25) points,and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The satisfaction of the students in the experimental group with the teaching method incorporating elements of ideology and politics,promoting learning participation,improving self-study ability,stimulating learning interest,improving clinical nursing thinking ability,and improving ideological and political literacy were higher than that of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). In the student and supervisor evaluations,the moral education competence scores of teachers in the experimental group were higher than those of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The curriculum ideological and political "cloud" teaching based on JITT mode improves students'learning participation and self-study ability,cultivates students'clinical nursing thinking ability and ideological and political literacy,and improves classroom teaching effect.
