Observation on the clinical efficacy of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine in the treatment of acute ischemic stroke
Objective To use integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine to treat acute ischemic stroke, and to observe the impact on daily activity and other indicators of patients,as well as clinical efficacy. Methods A total of 80 patients with acute ischemic stroke who were treated in the Department of Neurological Rehabilitation,Gaomi People's Hospital Affiliated to Shandong Second Medical University from February 2022 to August 2023 were divided into treatment group and control group by random number table method, with 40 patients in each group. All patients were given basic treatment such as dual antiplatelet aggregation and neurological rehabilitation training, and the treatment group was given "Jiawei Buqi Huanyang Decoction" on this basis, and was treated with integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine. Peripheral blood endothelial progenitor cells, vascular endothelial growth factor, stromal cell-derived factor-1 and other blood factors,as well as the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale and modified Barthel index were used as monitoring indicators to evaluate the therapeutic effect. Results The blood factor indicators of the two groups increased significantly after treatment compared to before treatment (P<0.05). The blood factors in the treatment group were higher than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The scale scores of the two groups improved significantly after treatment (P<0.05),and the treatment group performed better than the control group, with a statistically significant difference (P<0.05). Conclusion The use of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine treatment plan can significantly improve the neurological function of patients, which is of great significance for the prognosis of acute ischemic stroke.
