Observation on the application effect of early warning score in thrombolysis treatment for emergency stroke patients
Objective To explore the role of early warning grading in determining the severity of condition during the thrombolysis treatment for emergency stroke patients. Methods In June 2022,the Emergency Department,Fuzhou Second General Hospital began to carry out the green channel of early warning and grading combined with emergency nursing in the process of thrombolysis treatment for emergency stroke patients. 42 patients in each group within one year before and after the implementation were selected as the observation subjects (before the implementation:from June 2021 to May 2022,after the implementation:from June 2022 to May 2023). Before the implementation,42 patients were included as the control group (42 patients were given routine emergency nursing support during the treatment) and after the implementation,42 patients were included as the observation group (42 patients were given routine emergency nursing support and early warning grading during the treatment). The vascular patency rate,National institute of health stroke scale (NIHSS) score, complications, emergency rescue time and hospitalization time of the two groups were compared. Results The vascular patency rate in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The observation group had shorter diagnostic time, emergency rescue time, hospitalization time, and vascular recanalization time compared to the control group, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05). There was no statistical difference between the two groups in NIHSS before treatment (P>0.05),but after treatment, the observation group was lower than the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). There was no difference in the quality of life in the two groups before treatment (P>0.05),but the quality of life in the observation group was higher than that in the control group after treatment, with statistically significant difference (P<0.05). The total incidence of complications during the recovery process in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, with statistically significant difference (P<0.05). Conclusion The combination of routine emergency nursing and early warning grading in the thrombolysis treatment for emergency stroke patients has a positive effect on distinguishing the severity of the condition during the treatment process. It can improve the patient's vascular recanalization rate, shorten the patient's rescue time, reduce the patient's NIHSS score, and improve the patient's quality of life during the recovery period, which is helpful for patient recovery.
