Objective To study the changes of clinical application and understand the influence of pharmacoeconomics by analyzing the application of ointment formulas in traditional Chinese medicine hospital in recent ten years. Methods The information of outpatient ointment formulas prescriptions of the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University from 2014 to 2023 was collected,and the prescription information was classified,summarized and analyzed by Excel table. Results The majority of people taking the ointment formulas were women,with an average age of 45 years old. The public had a good recognition of the ointment formula,a good medical compliance,and a clear demand for personalized services. The ointment formula had good cost-effectiveness. Conclusion The development prospects of ointment formulas are broad,and consumer satisfaction with ointment formulas should be improved in multiple aspects.
