One case of Pityriasis lichenoides et varioliformis acuta treated with Xiao therapy
Pityriasis lichenoides et varioliformis acuta is a self-limiting disease characterized by acute onset, multiple lesions such as scaly erythema, papules, papules, blisters, necrosis, and scabs. After healing,it may leave acne like scars. Clinically rare, the etiology is not yet clear, there is currently no specific treatment method, and commonly used drugs in clinical practice have certain side effects. Professor Zhang Chijin, based on traditional Chinese medicine thinking, believes that the accumulation of heat and toxin is an important pathogenesis of this disease. When treating it,he uses methods to clear heat and detoxify, cool blood and promote blood circulation, and leverages the advantages of traditional medicine. The therapeutic effect is quite good, providing new ideas and methods for the treatment and research of acute acne like lichen like pityriasis. One case study is attached as evidence.
