Significance of detection of IL-1 β,IL-18,NLRP3 and Caspase-1 in synovial fluid of temporomandibular joint in pyroptosis of jawbone osteoblasts
Objective To explore the significance of interleukin(IL)-1 β,IL-18,NOD-like receptor thermal protein domain associated protein 3(NLRP3)and cysteinyl aspartate specific proteinase-1(Caspase-1)in temporomandibular joint synovial fluid in the focal death of jaw osteoblasts. Methods A total of 64 patients with temporomandibular joint disorder admitted to the Affiliated Second Hospital Mudanjiang Medical University from August 2020 to August 2021 were selected as study subjects. All patients were examined by computed tomography(CT)or magnetic resonance imaging(MRI).According to the examination results,28 patients with condylar bone destruction were selected as the study group, and 36 patients without condylar bone destruction were selected as the control group. The expression levels of molecules related to the classical pyroptosis pathway were compared between the two groups, and the pyroptosis of osteoblasts in the synovium of temporomandibular joint of the two groups were observed within 72 h,and the clinical value of detecting IL-1 β,IL-18,NLRP3 and Caspase-1 levels on pyroptosis of mandibular osteoblasts was analyzed. Results The levels of IL-1 β,IL-18,NLRP3 and Caspase-1 in the study group were significantly higher than those in the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).The Caspase-1+PI+levels of osteoblasts in synovial fluid of temporomandibular joint in the study group were higher than those in the control group at 24,48 and 72 h,with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion The levels of IL-1[3,IL-18,NLRP3 and Caspase-1 are all significantly increased in patients with bone destruction.
