Observation on the impact of zero defect nursing on pulmonary function of patients with pulmonary fibrosis complicated with pulmonary infection and respiratory failure
Objective To analyze the impact of zero defect nursing on the pulmonary function of patients with pulmonary fibrosis complicated with pulmonary infection and respiratory failure. Methods A total of 60 patients with pulmonary fibrosis complicated with pulmonary infection and respiratory failure who were treated in Zhongshan Hospital Affiliated to Xiamen University from January 2019 to June 2022 were extracted and divided into the control group(conventional nursing,n=30)and the experimental group(zero defect nursing,n=30)according to the random number table method. The pulmonary function(forced expiratory volume in one second[FEV1],forced vital capacity[FVC],peak expiratory flow rate[PEF]),blood gas indices(partial pressure of carbon dioxide in arterial blood[PaCO2],(partial pressure of oxygen in arterial blood[PaO2],saturation of oxygen in arterial blood[SaO2]),quality of life(QoL)(dyspnea symptoms, activity limitation, influence on daily life)and nursing efficacy were compared between the two groups. Results After the intervention, the levels of FEV1,FVC,and PEF in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group,PaCO2 was lower than that in the control group,PaO2 and SaO2 were higher than those in the control group, and the scores of QoL was lower than those in the control group, the total effective rate of nursing was higher than that in the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion In patients with pulmonary fibrosis complicated with pulmonary infection and respiratory failure, zero defect nursing can improve pulmonary function and blood gas index simultaneously, and improve the QoL and nursing efficacy.
