Study on the application of bundle nursing combined with continued nursing in patients with dysphagia after acute ischemic stroke
Objective To investigate the application value of bundle nursing combined with continued nursing in patients with dysphagia after acute ischemic stroke(AIS).Methods A total of 92 patients with dysphagia after AIS who were treated in Central People's Hospital of Zhanjiang from July 2022 to February 2024 were selected for the study.92 patients were divided into the observation group and the control group using the random number table method, with 46 patients in each group. The control group was given bundle nursing. The observation group was given bundle nursing combined with continued nursing. The swallowing function, nutritional status indicators, psychological status, and quality of life of the two groups were compared. Results The swallowing function was significantly better, and the serum albumin concentration, triceps skinfold thickness, and body mass index were significantly higher in the observation group than those in the control group at 1 month after discharge, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The Hamilton anxiety scale score and Hamilton depression scale score of both groups were lower than those before nursing, and scores were lower in the observation group than those in the control group at 1 month after discharge, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The swallowing quality of life score of both groups was higher than those before nursing, and the score was higher in the observation group than that in the control group at 1 month after discharge, with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion Bundle nursing combined with continued nursing can improve the swallowing function, nutritional status, negative emotions, and quality of life in patients with dysphagia after AIS.
