Application effect of rapid rehabilitation nursing based on traditional Chinese medicine characteristics in patients with total hip arthroplasty
Objective To observe the effect of implementing rapid rehabilitation nursing based on traditional Chinese medicine characteristics in perioperative patients with total hip arthroplasty.Methods A total of 79 patients who underwent total hip arthroplasty in Zhaoqing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2020 to December 2023 were selected.They were randomly divided into the observation group(n=43,receiving rapid rehabilitation nursing based on traditional Chinese medicine characteristics)and the control group(n=36,receiving routine nursing)according to the randomized numerical table method for 2 weeks of treatment.The efficacy of nursing care was compared between the two groups.Results After nursing,the visual analogue scale(VAS)and TCM syndrome scores of the observation group was lower than before treatment,and the VAS and TCM syndrome scores of the observation group was lower than that of the control group,with statistical significance(P＜0.05).The Harris score of the observation group were higher than before treatment,and the Harris score of the observation group were higher than those of the control group,with statistical significance(P＜0.05).The difference in surgical time between the two groups was not statistically significant(P＞0.05).The total incidence of postoperative complications,postoperative drainage volume,postoperative exhaust time,ambulation time,and hospitalization time in the observation group were all lower than those in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The nursing satisfaction of the observation group was better than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion For the preoperative,intraoperative and postoperative recovery of patients with total hip arthroplasty,the rapid rehabilitation nursing method with traditional Chinese medicine characteristics can effectively promote postoperative recovery of patients and optimize the function of the total hip joint.Therefore,this method has wide promotional value in clinical practice.
