Study on drug compatibility between disposable infusion set and Xiyanping injection
Objective To study the compatibility test between disposable infusion sets and Xiyanping injection.Methods According to the clinical usage and dosage of Xiyanping injection,the liquid medicine was simulated by intravenous infusion,and the liquid medicine was collected at different time points under the contact of different infusion devices.The characteristics of the liquid medicine,the concentration of the main medicine,insoluble particles and the migration of plasticizers diethylhexylphthalate(DEHP)and trioctyl trimellitate(TOTM)in the liquid medicine were studied.Results During the infusion contact between Xiyanping Injection and infusion sets made of different materials and PVC materials from different manufacturers,the infusion sets had no significant effect on drug adsorption,liquid properties,and insoluble particles.Plasticizers DEHP and TOTM were not detected in the liquid at all time points.Conclusion The disposable infusion set has almost no adsorption on Xiyanping injection,and the two have good compatibility.
