Progress of aminoacyl-tRNA synthetase in tumor research
The classic function of aminoacyl-tRNA synthetase(aaRs)is to catalyze the binding of amino acids with their corresponding tRNA,forming aminoacyl-tRNA and participating in protein synthesis. However,aaRs have also developed many atypical functions unrelated to aminoacylation during their evolution. The dysregulation of aaRs expression is associated with various diseases such as tumor, nervous system diseases, and cardiovascular diseases. At present, many studies have confirmed that aaRs are related to the occurrence and development of colorectal cancer, lung cancer, breast cancer and other tumors. As the connection between aaRs and tumors becomes clearer,aaRs inhibitors have the potential to develop into a new type of tumor therapeutic drug.In this paper, the function of aaRs and the correlation between aaRs and tumor are reviewed, and the development ideas of aaRs inhibitors with anti-tumor activity are discussed.
