Analysis of clinical and pathological characteristics and incidence trend of endometrial carcinoma
Objective To analyze the clinical and pathological characteristics and the incidence trend of endometrial carcinoma. Methods A total of 1112 patients who visited Second Hospital of Sanming and Fujian Provincial Maternity and Child Health Hospital from January 2013 to August 2023 were selected, and clinical data were collected for analysis. Results The number of cases increased year by year from 2013 to 2023,and the age of onset tended to be younger.1112 patients were aged 18-85 years, with an average of(52.13±9.50)years,and 49-59 years old was the peak period of onset, with 444 cases accounting for 39.93%of the total number of cases. There were 668 cases of patients≤45 years old, accounting for 60.07%of the total number of diseased cases. The number of patient cases in this age range increased year by year, and the proportion of the total diseased cases increased year by year, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There were 1075 cases of endometrioid adenocarcinoma, accounting for 96.67%of the total number of cases, and 37 cases of non-endometrioid adenocarcinoma, accounting for 3.33%of the total number of cases.Compared with endometrioid adenocarcinoma, among non-endometrioid adenocarcinomas, the proportion of G3 and deep myometrial infiltration was relatively high.In terms of surgical-pathologic staging, the proportion of stage Ⅲ and Ⅳ in non-endometrioid adenocarcinomas was relatively high, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The incidence of endometrial carcinoma is on the rise, and the population tends to be younger.Among them,non-endometrial adenocarcinoma has a lower degree of differentiation, strong invasion and poor prognosis,so it should be taken seriously.
