Observation on the therapeutic efficacy of local oxygen therapy combined with adjustable negative pressure wound therapy on deep degree Ⅱ burn wounds
Objective To investigate the therapeutic efficacy of local oxygen therapy combined with adjustable negative pressure wound therapy(ANPWT)on deep degree Ⅱ burn wounds. Methods A total of 80 cases of deep degree Ⅱ burn wounds admitted to Linyi Central Hospital from January 2017 to December 2022 were selected as research samples, and they were divided into the control group(n=40)and the study group(n=40)according to the random number table method. The control group was treated with conventional dressing change, while the study group was treated with local oxygen therapy combined with ANPWT.The wound healing time and healing efficacy were compared between groups, and the related serum inflammatory factors, pain score, comfort score, sleep status index and quality of life(QoL)score were compared between groups and within groups. Results The wound healing time of the study group was shorter than that in thecontrol group, and wound Grade A healing rate:the study group was higher than thecontrol group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Serum inflammatory factor:the indicators of both groups were obviously lower after treatment than those before, while the study group was lower than the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Pain scores:the scores were decreased significantly in both groups after treatment compared with before treatment, and the study group was lower than that of the control group.Comfort score:the scores of both groups were obviously higher after treatment than those before;and the study group was higher than the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Night time sleep latency, actual sleep duration and sleep quality indicators:both groups improved obviously after treatment compared with those before, and sleep latency of the study group was shorter than that of the control group, actual sleep duration of the study group was longer than the control group, while sleep quality score of the study group was lower than the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The scores of four dimensions of QoL:all of them were remarkably higher after the treatment than those before, while the study group was higher than in the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion Local oxygen therapy combined with ANPWT is effective in the treatment of deep degree Ⅱ burn wounds, which is beneficial to reduce the inflammatory reaction, release the pain, increase the comfort, improve the sleep and QoL,and make patients'wounds heal better and faster.
