The clinical effect of modified pin fixation in the treatment of Rockwood type Ⅲ acromioclavicular joint dislocation
Objective To compare the clinical effect of modified pin fixation and clavicular hook plate internal fixation in the treatment of Rockwood type Ⅲ acromioclavicular joint dislocation. Methods The clinical data of 54 patients with Rockwood type Ⅲ acromioclavicular joint dislocation admitted to Xiangyang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine and treated by surgery from January 2010 to December 2019 were retrospectively analyzed, and they were divided into an observation group(modified pin group,n=25)and a control group(clavicular hook plate group,n=29)according to the different surgical methods, and the Constant Murley absolute scores of two groups on 3 days,2 weeks,6 months, and 1 year after treatment were compared. After one year of treatment, the incidence of complication the two groups were compared. The operative time, intraoperative blood loss and hospital stay were compared between the two groups. Results All 54 patients were followed up regularly after the operation. After 3 days,2 weeks,6 months and 1 year of treatment, the absolute value scores of Constant-Murley in the observation group were higher than that in the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The total complication rate in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).The operative time and intraoperative blood loss in the observation group were less than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in hospital stay between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Compared with clavicular hook plate internal fixation, the modified pin fixation has the advantages of more safety, and fewer complications in the treatment of Rockwood type Ⅲ acromioclavicular joint dislocation, and the clinical effect is satisfactory.
