The morphological changes and the values of electrical conductivity, chlorophyll (chl) content, proline(pro), superoxide dismutase (sod) activity and soluble protein content, soluble sugar content, malondialdehyde (mda) content ofSedum lineare Thunb. in their leaves after drought stress under high temperature and high humidity environment was observed and determined to research morphological characteristics and physiological responses to drought stress of Sedum lineare Thunb. The results showed that the external form ofSedum lineare Thunb. was greatly influenced by precipitation in the natural outdoor environment. After 20d drought stress, it can grow back to normal. Electrical conductivity increased as stress increased, and the plasma membrane suffered the serious harm of drought stress. SOD activity and soluble sugar content increased first and then decreased. Pro content fluctuated strongly. Chl content was low in the overall process. MDA content changed relatively stable. Sedum lineare Thunb. was able to bear the high temperature of 25℃.
