The problems caused by idle land in Kunshan city were discussed. Then the paper put forward five kinds of development and utilization modes based on landscape perspective so as to reduce the resources waste and social issues resulted by urban idle land, improve the urban ecological environment, and further reveal the features of urban landscapes.
