Pretreatment method of determining total sterol in vegetable oil
The pretreatment method of the vegetable oil during total sterol determination was established by studying the saponification condition of the commercial sterol ester. The relative standard deviation of the repeated results was 0.46％, the relative standard deviation of the repeated results between personnel was 0.31％ -0.58％ ,the biggest relative standard deviation between laboratories, results was 6.26％,and the standard recovery rate was 95.02％ -104.29％ ,which showed that the established method was suitable for the determination of total sterol in vegetable oil.
