Study of Motion Responses of Flexibly Connected Floating Bridge under Moving Loads
In order to study the motion response characteristics of the flexibly connected floating bridge under the moving loads, the hydrodynamic analysis model of the flexibly connected floating bridge, which is connected by the cables and fenders,is established based on the Kane method, and the corresponding computational program is developed. The correctness and accuracy of the model were verified by using the commercial software AQWA,and then the motion responses of the floating bridge were studied under different load weights and stiffnesses of the connecting cables. The results show that:the vertical displacements of the floating bridge increase with the moving load weight, and decrease with increased cable stiffness. The load weight primarily influences the sinking displacements of the floating bridge, while adjusting cable stiffness can effectively control the upward displacements.Particular attention should be focused on the end of the water side of the pontoon during the moving load process.
