Research progress on laboratory testing for hypercoagulable state in malignant tumors
The risk of venous thrombosis is significantly increased in patients with malignant tumors, with hypercoagulability in these patients as an important contributing factor. The hypercoagulable state not only affects the occurrence and development of malignant tumor thrombosis, but may also be closely related to tumor prognosis. Objective and accurate assessment of the existence and degree of tumor hypercoagulability is thus a necessary challenge in clinical practice. This review describes current research on laboratory tests for assessing hypercoagulability in malignant tumors.
