Changes in the Japanese Lighting Market from Export Data
In recent years,the export of Chinese lighting products to Japan has experienced fluctuations due to the global economic slowdown.In 2023,the total export value of Chinese lighting products to Japan was approximately $ 1.5 billion,a year-on-year decrease of 3%.As the scale of China's LED industry continues to expand and the entry barriers lower,more lighting companies are engaging in the production of LED-related products.This has led to serious product homogenization within the industry and a continuous decline in product prices.Meanwhile,Japan's lighting equipment market aims to achieve 100%solid-state lighting and attain a 40%market share for products such as smart lighting and health lighting.Consequently,the demand for high-quality,high value-added LED lighting products in the Japanese market is gradually increasing.This article analyzes these changes and their impact on Chinese enterprises,providing strategic recommendations for relevant companies.
