A Study of Light Changes that Cause Jewelry to Shine
The sparkling effect on the surface of jewelry can evoke a sense of luxury for customers, thereby attracting them to make purchases.'Sparkling'is an effect achieved on the jewelry surface through the combination of lighting.Jewelers achieve brilliance by optimizing jewelry designs and enhancing the sparkling effect through the lighting design of display cabinets. This article conducts experiments using a lighting fixture with nine small-angle LEDs mechanically rotating. The central LED serves the primary illumination function, while the surrounding eight LEDs in rotation contribute to the sparkling effect. The central LED brightness equals the total brightness of the surrounding LEDs,both illuminating the jewelry and compensating for light and shadow changes caused by the rotation of the peripheral LEDs.The central LED uses a45-degree lens, and the surrounding LEDs use 15-degree lenses.Ultimately, the jewelry surface exhibits a noticeable sparkling effect with minimal overall light and shadow variation.
