LED Lighting Products for Older Adult Health Evaluation Research
With the growth of China's elderly population,the importance of elderly-friendly LED application products in improving the quality of life for the elderly is becoming increasingly prominent.This paper primarily investigates the light health characteristics of elderly-friendly LED application products and their impact on the quality of life of the elderly,forming a set of light health evaluation criteria for the elderly,and providing theoretical support for the development and improvement of elderly-friendly LED application products.The study examines the characteristics of the aging eye,including decreased accommodative ability,increased astigmatism,reduced spatial contrast sensitivity,reduced retinal illumination,slower dark adaptation,and color vision decline,and discusses the consequences of these age-related physiological declines,which necessitate better lighting systems for support.Based on the CIE 227:2017 standard,this study proposes the theoretical illuminance values required for the elderly.
