In order to optimize the anaerobic digestion process of vegetable waste, with cabbage waste as raw material, batch anaerobic digestion process was adopted.Three experimental groups with different stirring frequencies(standing,in-termittent stirring and continuous stirring)were set up,and anaerobic digestion was carried out at 35 ℃±1 ℃.The in-termittent stirring group had the highest cumulative gas production, the highest energy output index and the better stirring effect. It was proved that intermittent stirring could balance the stirring effect and economy at the same time.Intermittent stirring can prevent the formation of precipitation, foam, crust or floating layer, and promote the release of biogas from the matrix. This result can provide a reference for the optimization of the stirring process of the anaerobic digestion project of vegetable waste.
